He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Purple and Loreen Purple (Morrison); and his brother Kenneth "Big Ken" Purple. He is survived by : his wife Amy Harmon; his sons, Gregory Purple, Jr. (Heidi Clark), Devin Dodd (Cody) and Nathan Purple; his grandsons, Hazen and Glenn Dodd; and his siblings, Robert Purple (Annette), Roy Purple, Linda Pena Jr. (Encarnacion), Kathi MacDonald (Ken), Billie Ann Purple and Angela Greco (Anthony).
