She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Sommerfeldt and Hannah Sommerfeldt (Pyko); her husband Robert Burris; and her brother ArthurSommerfeldt. She is survived by: her sister Ellen Hesselink (LD) of Marion, MI; and her children, Cindy Gertiser (James) of Whitehall, MI, James Campbell (Denise) of Columbiaville, MI, John Burris (Beth Powers) of Plattsburgh, NY and Matthew Burris (Denise) of Humble, TX.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces, and nephews.
