Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Norma Jean Rasmussen of Whitehall, Michigan, born in Shelby, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 89, on June 19, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Shafer and Josephine Shafer (Schmuck); her husband Dale Rasmussen; her sister Sharon Dean; and her great grandchild Kinsley Wahr.

She is survived by : her brother Edwin Shafer (June); and her children, Rebecca Wahr (John), Joyce Cantlon, John Rasmussen (Lisa) and Jean Carpenter (Brian). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
