We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Thomas A. Bowen in Whitehall, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Bowen and Mary Chaplin (Tyler); his brothers, William and David Bowen; his siblings-in-law, Diane Tardani and Claude Rust; his nephews, Kirk Bowen and Dean DeGroot; and his niece Deanna Block.

He is survived by : his wife Susan K. Rust; his children, Mary Lynn and Brett Bowen (Erika); his sisters, Barbara DeGroot (Bill) and Mindy Fernandes (Greg); his siblings-in-law, Sandi Frein (Marvin) and Edward Rust (Gail); and his grandchildren, Adelaine and Nolan Bowen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444).

Contributions in memory of Mr. Bowen may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
