He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Ann Leland; his parents, Thurlow and Loretta; and his sisters, Beverly Bernard and Barbara Haines.
He is survived by: his sons, Karl Jr. Ehnis (June) and Paul Ehnis (Barbara); his grandchildren, Rachel, Chad Ehnis (Mary), Kate See (Elton), Amanda Ehnis, Emily Sparks, Bradley Sparks (Alyssa) and Jonathan Sparks; his great grandchildren, Emma and Theo See; and his siblings, Neil Ehnis (Lois) and Jo Weeks (Bruce).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Country Catholic Church (6805 Mast Rd, Dexter, MI 48130). A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Leland Cemetery (6000-6092 Earhart Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105).
