He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sasser and Phyllis Scarberry; and his siblings, Deborah (Sis), Jeff (Steve), Jennifer, Jesse and Jodi.
He is survived by: his sons, Justin Sasser (Kristina) and Brandon Sasser (Amanda); his siblings, Jim Sasser and Peggy Uren (Bruce); and his stepfather Alvie Scarberry. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help cover costs at the celebration of life or please plant a tree to give back to the outdoors John loved so much.
