“Doris was my next door neighbor on Skegemog Point Road in Williamsburg, Michigan when I first arrived there in 1971 until she sold her property around 2010 following the passing of her husband, Ed. I have fond memories of both Doris and Ed especially my many chats with Doris at her kitchen table and the splitting/stacking of fire wood with Ed. I was so proud when she invited me to her family events. It was a sad day for me when Doris moved away after so many years of her kindness & friendship.”
