He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Rodgers and Margaret Rodgers (Connell); his stepmother Jean Rodgers; and his stepbrother David Beyer. He is survived by: his wife Tammi Rodgers (Aardema); his children, Margaret "Maggie" Rodgers (Jeremy Sestok) and Edward J. Rodgers III (Beth Kniffin); his grandchildren, Charles Rodgers and Madelyn Sestok; his brothers, Mark Rodgers and Michael Rodgers (Mary "DeeDee"); his siblings-in-law, Randy Aardema (Trish), Nancy Edginton (William) and Kim Ruble (William); and his stepsisters, Christine Burkhardt and Lucy Beyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
