It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Sweeney in Williamsburg, Michigan, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (3801 Shore Rd, Williamsburg, MI 49690). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Oakwood Catholic Diocesan Cemetery (1720 Hannah Ave, Traverse City, MI 49686).
