She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Odell and Frieda Odell (Stears); and her siblings, Harry Odell Jr., Selma Lee, Maxine Olsen and George Odell.

She is survived by: her husband Emil Charles Ruhlig; her children, Gregory Allen Ruhlig and Valerie Ann Ruhlig; her grandchildren, David Matthew Devere Green and Victoria Lynn Strohschein (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Liam E. Towne, Jason C. Green, Louise F. Green and Annabelle K. Stroschein; and her siblings, Cloyce Odell and Frances Gordon.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes (205 E Middle St, Williamston, MI 48895). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Summit Cemetery.
