He was predeceased by: his parents, Berton Johnson and Erma Johnson; his wife Geraldine Johnson; and his sister Lois Berke. He is survived by: his children, Marvin Johnson, Janette Ratza (Timothy), Trina Newman and Kelly Johnson; and his sisters, Neva Curtis and Jean Patton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Perry Chapel (214 S Main St, Perry, MI 48872). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Summit Cemetery (4039 Beeman Rd, Williamston, MI 48895).
