He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Klausing and Anna Klausing (Sinkovitz) of Howell, Michigan.; his wife Diane; and his siblings, Mary Ann Klausing, Janice Klanecky (Klausing), Phyllis Brophy (Klausing) and Leonard Klausing.
He is survived by: his friend Mary Rubus; his daughter Melissa Klausing; his grandchildren, Ben and Allianna Torres; his cousin Carol Regnier (Bruce Copp); and his sibling's children, Darryl Klausing (Jamie Ann), Laureen Nelson (Chris), Jamie E. Klausing, Wayne Klausing (Julie), Tricia Headley (Don), Annette Griswold (Don) and Karen DeCaire (Louis).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, Williamston Senior Center, or Elara Caring Hospice East Lansing.
