She is survived by: her spouse Elwynn Boerma; her son Jacob Boerma; her parents, Bill Hess (Janell) and Marjorie Markle (Johnnie Morris); and her brother Will Hess (Sherry). She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home & Cremation Services (406 N Bridge St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Essential Church (3510 Zimmer Rd, Williamston, MI 48895). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Dinner Oct.
