He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Gootee and Alice Gootee; and his brother Larry Gootee. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Gootee (Harrison); his children, Scott Gootee (Diana) and Amanda Fugate (Jimmy); his granddaughters, Danielle Gootee, Nicole Harvey (Keith), Erin DiBiosso (Alex) and Amber Fugate; and his siblings, Kavin, Keith Gootee, Shelly Dupon (Paul) and Caroline Sauers (Dave).
