She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Ayotte and Verna Ayotte (Sicore); and her siblings, Clarence Ayotte and Arlene Szapa. She is survived by: her husband Rich Schiesser of Wilson; her children, Jody Schiesser (Sarah) of Savannah, GA, Jamie Schiesser (Cheri) and Heidi Schiesser of Wilson; her grandchildren, Finn, Talon, Jamie Jr. and Jake; her great grandchild Emma; her sister Lisa Gatien (Bob); and her sister-in-law Lucille Ayotte. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (1216 12th Rd, Bark River, MI 49807). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help continue the care and maintenance of her beloved pond and flower garden, allowing these special places she cherished to remain a lasting part of her home.
