Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gerard and Anna Marie Amundsen (McFadden); his daughter Laura Baron; his grandsons, Karl Johnson, Patrick Baron and Jerisen Amundsen; his siblings, Donna Drake, Jack Amundsen, Bob Amundsen and Dick Amundsen; and also Sebastian Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Amundsen; his children, Kathy Johnson (Mark), James Amundsen (Sharon), Julie Cunningham (Brian), John Amundsen (Wendy), Cheri Lindholm (Gary) and Jerry Amundsen (Myrna); and his son-in-law Chris Baron. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church, East Jordan.

“We are sorry for Uncle Ed’s passing. There are many memories when I stayed on his farm when I was a teenager. He taught me how to work hard and be responsible which has been a good foundation throughout my life. We will always remember the last time we were together with Ed and Nancy n a wonderful trip to Denali National Park in September 2018. He was such a great host and did all the driving so we could enjoy the scenery.”
