He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gerard and Anna Marie Amundsen (McFadden); his daughter Laura Baron; his grandsons, Karl Johnson, Patrick Baron and Jerisen Amundsen; his siblings, Donna Drake, Jack Amundsen, Bob Amundsen and Dick Amundsen; and also Sebastian Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Amundsen; his children, Kathy Johnson (Mark), James Amundsen (Sharon), Julie Cunningham (Brian), John Amundsen (Wendy), Cheri Lindholm (Gary) and Jerry Amundsen (Myrna); and his son-in-law Chris Baron. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (207 Nichols St, East Jordan, MI 49727). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
