Leann C. Vandermissen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leann C. Vandermissen of Wilson, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lois J. Smith (Olesen); her husband George Vandermissen; her stepfather Chall Smith; and her father Gene Uhle Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Carol Tighe (Tom), Scott Vandermissen (Bonnie), Naomi McAllister (Ross), Ben Vandermissen (Ivey), Sarah Hernandez (Phil) and Joshua Vandermissen; and her siblings, Michael Johnson (JeanAnn), Vonnie Hubbard (Roy), Sandy Prince (John) and Steve Smith. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (1216 12th Rd, Bark River, MI 49807). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bark River Township Cemetery (1236 Old U. S. 2, Bark River, MI 49807).
