We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to CMC Michael D. Russell of Wixom, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis C. Sarah and Gilbrethe Sarah. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Elizabeth Russell; his daughter Elise Russell; his stepchildren, Kurt Smith, Steven Smith (Nicole) and Leah Smith (Steven Veillette); his grandchildren, Caden and Gwendolyn Smith; and his brother Daniel Russell (Heather).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (2040 S Commerce Rd, Walled Lake, MI 48390). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery.
