The passing of Gordon Ackerman of Wixom, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Anton and Mildred Irene; his wife Marilyn Joyce Ackerman; and his daughter Cheryl Schlosser (late Scott). He is survived by: his children, Kim VanErp (Michael) and Lisa Ackerman; and his grandchildren, Ariel, Shelbie and Dakota.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walled Lake United Methodist Church (313 E Northport St, Walled Lake, MI 48390). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Walled Lake United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
