She was predeceased by: her father Richard Marrone; her father-in-law Angus MacDonald; and her stepfather Ken Horwath. She is survived by: her mother Elaine Horwath (Berjeski); her husband Shawn MacDonald; her son Ian MacDonald; her mother-in-law Bee MacDonald; her siblings, Rick Marrone (Keri Zakocs), Kathy Marshall (Tim), Steve Marrone (Brenda) and Kris Zwemer; and her siblings-in-law, Chuck Zwemer, Mark MacDonald (Caryn), Darryl MacDonald (Debbie) and Michele MacDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
