She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Whitcomb; her parents, Herman Sherfinski and Rose Sherfinski (Sullivan); and her brother Donald Sherfinski. She is survived by: her children, Scott Whitcomb (Marty) of Petoskey and Angie Canistra (Pete) of Wolverine; her grandchildren, Jonathan Whitcomb (Daeun), Mikayla, Lane Whitcomb, Colton Martin (Mary), PJ and Doug Canistra; her great grandchildren, Theodore and Suvi Whitcomb; her siblings, Christine Medaris of Tennessee, Pauline Kerr of Washington, James Sherfinski (Glenda) of Texas, Darlene Hathaway of Michigan, Georgine Harkness of Colorado and Valentine Sherfinski (Marge) of Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Campell-McDonald of Illinois, Gerri Stockinger and Becky Sherfinski of Michigan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
