He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hamsher and Jean Hamsher (Williamson); and his siblings, Bessie, Florence, Flossie, Ray, Clyde, John and Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne; his children, Judy Shively (Dan), Dan Hamsher (Diane) and Lisa Snowden (Mark); and his grandchildren, Jon Sherman, Rodney Sherman, Bill Shively, Jim Shively, Dawn Connors, David Hamsher, Breanna Jewell, Greg Snowden and Sam Snowden. He is also survived by his many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish consider memorial contributions in his memory to The Salvation Army.
