She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Smith and Bertha M. Smith (Wiseman); her husband Roy A. Cotton (Pete); her siblings, Virginia Bonner, Richard Smith, Robert Smith, Benton Smith and Mary Easter; and her stepmother Juanita Bucy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Kight (Lowell) of Chillicothe, Michelle Evans (Mike) of Wolverine and Cindi Cotton (Bryan Keaton) of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Sierra Althouse, Amber Jaminia, Michael Evans Jr., Justin Evans, Veronica Evans, Gary J. Helton and Kaylee Helton; and her nieces and nephews, John Bonner, Peggy Chester, Jackie Irvin and Terry Easter. She is also survived by 11 greatgrandchildren.
