He is survived by: his parents, Ed VanOmmeren (Sandy) and Lynda VanOmmeren; his sisters, Lisa VanOmmeren and Lori Mullins (Justin); his nieces and nephews, Anika and Ethan Mullins; his stepbrothers, Matt and David Duda; his aunts, Sandy Jensen and Carol Jean VanOmmeren; his uncle Jay Hillis; and his cousin Chad Labumbard (Shelby). He is also survived by pet, "Oscar the dog"; as well as extended family and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Woodland Hospice or a cancer research or patient support organization of the donor's choice.
