He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Hughes (Sally) of Blissfield, Carrie Collins (Tim) of Grosse Ile and Katie Halcomb (Luke) of Wyandotte; his grandchildren, Abigail, Aubrey, Evan, Aiden, Leena and Scarlett; and his siblings, Barbara Strimpel, John Strimpel, William Strimpel (Julie), James Strimpel (Tami), Shellie Haddix (Scott), George Strimpel (Blair), Charles Strimpel (Rebecca), Theresa Strimpel and Edward Strimpel (Christina). He is also survived by two nieces and nephews and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Divine Grace Parish - Carleton Email (2996 W Labo Rd, Carleton, MI 48117).
