She was predeceased by: her parents, George Barnosky and Elizabeth Barnosky; her siblings, George Barnosky and Anna Niebrzydowski; her son Robert Nerowski; her son-in-law James Denger; and her grandson Jeremiah Denger.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Nerowski; her children, Thomas Nerowski (Jan), Mari-Ann Denger, Brian Nerowski (Patti) and Daniel Nerowski (Cindy); her daughter-in-law Sally Nerowski; and her brother Jerome Barnosky. She is also survived by grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Czopek Funeral Directors (2157 Oak St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
