She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pero and Grace Pero; her husband Robert Henry LaForest; her daughter Michele Blunk; and her siblings, Lucille, Dorothy, Donna, Elaine, Chuck, Bill and Jim.
She is survived by: her sisters, Char Dunnigan and Beth Pero.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Czopek Funeral Directors (2157 Oak St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Church (6442 Pelham Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
