Rita M. Laing Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Laing (Wyandotte, Michigan), who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur; her daughter Marie Elizabeth; and her parents, Thomas Dillon and Lorraine Dillon. She is survived by: her children, Tom, Alan (Ann), Kathleen, Kevin (Laura) and Karen (Suzie); her grandchildren, Jason Laing (Amanda Dotson), David Laing, Jennifer Broiles (Brian), Chelsea Greathouse (Aaron), Elizabeth Hinman (Alex), Matthew Laing and Birkleigh Olstad; and her great grandchildren, Freya Careen Hinman, Chloe Ann Broiles and Cooper Alan Broiles. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Czopek Chapel (2157 Oak St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Cyprian Church (13249 Pennsylvania Rd, Riverview, MI 48193). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
