He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and Ezeb; and also Hazel Amo. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Vasher (Amo); his children, Jill Mayville (Chris) and David Vasher (Mandy); his grandson Trevor Vasher (Megan Curry); his sister Susan Tomaszewski (Huntley Robinson); and his close friends, Allen Mayville and Cooper.

The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John United Church of Christ (2744 4th St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
