He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Herron; his children, Mark Herron, Melinda Clark (Mike), Joanne Kovacs, Ernest Gurka (Caren), Annette Vanwashenova (David) and Frank Gurka (Cindy); and his brother Vern Herron. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
