He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeHoog and Clara DeHoog; his sisters, Claray Vander Sloot and Connie Basket; and his stepfather Casey Hielkema.
He is survived by: his wife Norine DeHoog; his children, Michelle (Cal Wierda), Deb (Paul Kellstedt), Don DeHoog and Craig (Megan DeHoog); his grandchildren, Aaron Wierda, Sean Wierda, Abigail Kellstedt, Elizabeth Kellstedt, Ruth DeHoog and Margo DeHoog; and his siblings, John, Peg DeHoog and Sandy VanderMey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
