It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Joan Groot of Wyoming, Michigan, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Groot; her son Lorenzo Blair; her father Irwin Thompson (Iola); her children, Lola Tol, Todd Blair and Janet Kiefer (Al); her former husband Joseph Blair; her siblings, Dorla West, Patty Slone, Alroy Thompson, Tim Thompson and Tom Thompson; and her mother Iola Thompson. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
