He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Starkey and Mary Starkey (Gallego); the mother of his children Marilyn Cronkrite; his former wife Helen M. Bailey; and his brother John Starkey.
He is survived by: his children, Sam Starkey (Carrie) of Rockford and Lisa VanderMolen (Kurt) of Wyoming, Michigan; his grandchildren, Corbin Starkey, Owen Cronk, Dawson Starkey, Carter Cronk, Evey Starkey, Eli Cronk and Ella VanderMolen; and his siblings, Paula Rosada of Oregon, Billie Tester (Greg) of Florida and Sharon Bull of Florida.
