He is survived by: his children, Melinda Piers (Colin), David Rector Jr. (Stephanie) and Jeffrey Rector; his son-in-law Ryan Wiltzer; his grandchildren, Madeline, Gabriel (Erika), Grace, Jordan, Nathan of Maxwell, DJ, Colton and Analiese; his great grandchildren, Addyson Ray and Magnolia; his siblings, Cindy Johns, Denise Hiemstra (Dave) and Richard Rector; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald George (Margaret), David George (Donna), Mary Tobias (Dave) and Kathy Rector. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beuschel Funeral Home (5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
