Denise Scott Obituary

We announce the death of Denise Scott of Wyoming, Michigan, who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 66. Denise will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Jean DeYoung and Jerome Keith DeYoung; her parents-in-law, William and Beverly Scott; and her brothers-in-law, William Scott III and John Way.

She is survived by: her husband Bruce Scott; her children, Tara, Bill James, Daniel Scott, Julie Baker, Jana and Brandon Vugteveen; her grandchildren, Jacob, Jaylen, Austin, Connor, Kiersten, Mackenzie and Victoria; her siblings, Jamie, Dave Patchin, Jack DeYoung, Janet, Tom Renton, Dyan DeYoung and Ken Max; and her sister-in-law Sandy Way. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
