He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Gorder and Irene Van Gorder (Fate); his sister Sandra Vredeveld; and his wife Karen VanGorder. He is survived by: his children, Scott Van Gorder (Susan), Lori Buitendorp (Michael) and Kimberly Meyers (Jeffery); and his grandchildren, Alex Van Gorder (Amber), Hännah Ferguson (Ashley), Amanda Konyndyk (Chad), Andrew Bielecki, Kaylee Williams (Lodrick), Sydney Strickling (Adam), Jeffery Meyers (Michaela) and Nicholas Meyers. He is also survived by his 15 great-grandchildren.
