He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Thomas and Elda Margaret Hare (Rich); his son Jamie; his siblings, Shirley, Stanley, Jackie Hare, Lois and George Stickland; and his parents-in-law, Doris and Joseph Wheelock.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Jo Wheelock of Wyoming; his children, Pamela Zerfas of Baldwin, Patty Gilchrist (Gordon) of Cedar Springs, Scott Hare (Francene) of Jamesville, Bryan Hare (Erin) of Wyoming, Jon Hare of Wyoming and Matthew Hare of Saranac; his brother Glen Hare (Judy) of Reed City; and his former wife Arlene Hare (Haines).
