She was predeceased by: her husband Charles M. Vining; her brothers, Kenneth Koorndyk and Robert Koorndyk; her parents, Albert Koorndyk and Christine Koorndyk (Haan); and her granddaughter Rebecca Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Douglas Plummer (Susan), Cathy Johnson, Pamela Laskovy (Michael) and Julie Paynter (David); her grandchildren, Cally, MaryEllen, Lindsey, Stephen, Alyssa, Andrew, Matt, Josh, Amy, Molly, Michelle and Emily; her sister-in-law Babe Koorndyk; and her nieces and nephews, Kitty, Rosemary, Chrissie, Elcy, Ken Jr. and Louis. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
