He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Whitcomb and Pearl Whitcomb (Sturgeon); and his siblings, Greg, Colleen and Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Whitcomb (Parente); his daughters, Jennifer Fry (Mike) and Kara Whitcomb; his grandchildren, Paul James, Dakota, Kyler, Arianna (Matt), Julian and Ethan; and his siblings, Bob, Tom, Sue, Becky (Steve), Mike (Marie) and Cris. He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
