She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Emery and Henrietta Emery; her brother Nicky Emery; and her close friend Joe Trevino. She is survived by: her children, Allen, Wendy Meelker and Sarah Johnson; her grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Olivia and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Lili'Ann and Molly; and her siblings, Merlin (Joanne Emery) and Carol Snoeyink (late Rich). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family.
