He was predeceased by: his brother Rudolph "Rudy" J. Spalenka Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Spalenka (Comstock); his children, Peter, Lyn Spalenka and Joy Martin; his grandchildren, Andrew, Lisseth Spalenka, Christina, Matt Nelson, Jonathan Martin, Timothy and Sarah Martin; and his great grandchild Celeste Olivia Spalenka.
