He was predeceased by: his father Javier Melendez. He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his sons, Armando and Noe Melendez; his mother Maria Del Rosario; and his siblings, Javier Melendez, Angelica Ortiz, Beatriz Ortiz and Alondra Ortiz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
