He was predeceased by: his son Daniel James; his parents, Cornelius Maring and Francis Maring; and his brothers, Howard C. Maring (Joyce) and Lee C. Maring.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his son Cornelius J. Maring (Barbara); his grandchildren, Jacob J. Maring, Margaret J. Maring and Zachary J. Maring; and his siblings-in-law, John Norton (Sally) and Mary Purdun. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
