He is survived by: his son Joseph Earl; his granddaughter Maci Jo; his siblings, David Scribner, Fred Scribner (Chong Sun), Deb Sala (James), Pamela Wierda and Allan Wierda; and his close friend Buu Lee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
