Joyce Elaine Platt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Elaine Platt of Wyoming, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Haggerty and Marian Haggerty (Rosema); her husband Joseph Platt; her stepson Joe Platt; her siblings, Ken Haggerty and Jan Binns; and her siblings-in-law, Marian Hunkins, Pat and Charlie McCormick.
She is survived by: her son Jim Platt; her stepdaughter Cindy Owens; her grandchildren, Aidan Platt, Deanna Cavalier, Montana Owens and Zachary Tiffany; her sister Karen Bigelow (Bruce); and her brother-in-law Jim Platt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery (50 Lake Michigan Dr, Grand Rapids, MI 49544).
