The passing of Julie Bergakker of Wyoming, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 9, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Curtis Bergakker; and her niece Kendall Frost. She is survived by: her mother Kathy Bergakker; her stepfather Jim Yonkers; her sisters, Stacey Goodson and Brenda Bergakker; her stepsiblings, Jamie Yonkers-Senzig (Joseph) and Jonathan Yonkers (Alyssa); her siblings' children, Janelle Goodson, Troi Goodson, Drake Goodson, Donnie Alford, Da'Shine Shelton, Naomi Goodson, Isaiah Goodson, Nayeli Chavez-Evangelista, David Blair and Kyson Cummings; and her pet Minnie. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
