He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Dozeman and Marilyn Dozeman. He is survived by: his children, Michael Dozeman (Lisa) and Kaitlin VanBeek (Steve); his grandchildren, Evie, Peyton, Bryson, Tori and Steve; his brother Arlyn Dozeman (Sherri); and his close friend Cathie Collins. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
