He is survived by: his wife Ngoc; his children, Phuc Tu and Loc Tu; and his daughters-in-law, Jennifer Tu and Huynh Thi Tu-Trinh.
He also did charity work for the Buddhist temple he founded, Tam Quang Temple, in Wayland.
