He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard and Edna (Bailey); his wife Dorothy (Lekenta); his daughter Marianne; his grandson Jacob; and his daughters, Martha (Robert Bonk), Margaret (Roger Buenzow), Marilyn (Harry Hunter) and Marie Jackobs. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
