He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis DeBoer and Minnie DeBoer (Wilhelmina Telder); his former wife Retha Elaine Johnson (Johnson); his son James DeBoer; and his siblings, Betty Geysbeek (Larry), Marie Doren (Bill) and Rev. Jay DeBoer (Lois).
He is survived by: his wife Mary DeBoer; his daughters, Sue Bennett (Ed) and Nancy DeBoer; his grandsons, Michael Bennett, Eric Bennett (Chelsea) and Jason Corwin; his stepchildren, Debra, Denise (Rick), David, Donald (Kathy), Dean, Darren (Tammy) and Duane (Karen); his brother J. Walter DeBoer (Shirley); and his stepbrother Robert Baird (Beverly). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
